Mission
The purpose of the organization shall be to provide a base support for Hispanic/Latinx students and the general student body in terms of social, cultural, and academic development. ALAS strives to promote strength, unity, leadership, and professionalism among all students. In addition, we hope to instill in the UMKC students and faculty a greater awareness of commitment to the needs of the Latinx community.
