The mission of the organization is to provide the following:
* An organized body through which Bloch School students can participate in the decision and policy-making process of the Henry W. Bloch School of Management.
* Representation at the Student Government Association (SGA) and the Student Activity Fee Committee (SAFC)
* Efficient disbursement of authorized budgeted fund information in the best interests of the students in the Henry W. Bloch School of Management.
* Ensure that the needs, desires, and attitudes of the Bloch School student body are adequately and correctly represented to the administration and the administration of the University of Missouri-Kansas City as a whole.
* Enhance and promote student interaction with faculty, Bloch organizations, and alumni.

The MSAC serves as the student government body in the School of Medicine and is comprised of student-elected representatives who focus on promoting student interests, keeping the administration informed of student opinion and organizing social activities. MSAC serves as an umbrella organization for student interest groups in the areas such as Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, International Medicine, Med/Peds, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Spanish in Medicine, and Surgery.

The PSC is dedicated to representing the views, ideas, and concerns of the student body. The PSC will facilitate equal representation among the three locations and value the voice of each student of the School of Pharmacy. The purpose of the student council is to support individual pharmacy students, student organizations, and the student body at the Kansas City, Columbia, and Springfield locations of the School of Pharmacy. The PSC shall serve as a liaison between students and university administration.
