Option Standard Family Weekend Registration The Standard Family Weekend registration includes access to all scheduled events (except for Urban Hikes KC and Athletic Events), free admission to the National Museum of Toys and Miniatures, and a thank you gift to registering for UMKC Family Weekend. Note that no meal is included, however the UMKC Foodiverse and campus retailers will have normal operating hours. Option Urban Hikes KC Tour Explore Kansas City in a unique and active way during Family Weekend! Join Urban Hikes KC, a UMKC alumna-owned business, for a guided urban hike around the beautiful neighborhoods and landmarks surrounding campus. This experience will take you through several iconic locations, including Kauffman Memorial Garden, the charming homes of Printer's Row, the famous shuttlecocks on the lawn of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and the scenic areas of Country Club Plaza and Mill Creek Park. Start Location: Meet at the UMKC Family Weekend Check-In Table Student Union: 5100 Cherry St, Kansas City, MO 64110 Date: Saturday, September 26th 2026 Arrival Time: 9:00 a.m. End Time: 12:00 p.m. All participants will be required to sign a digital waiver prior to the hike. Adults and children are welcome to attend. All participants must have a purchased ticket unless they are under the age of 2. Strollers are welcome.
