Join UMKC historian Chris Wolff for a walk through the darker side of UMKC’s history. On this one mile-walk through UMKC’s historic Volker campus, we will tell the stories of murder and mayhem that didn’t make it into the history books. And of course, we’ll tell the campus ghost stories. Does the spirit of a dead actress haunt UMKC’s Performing Arts Center? Why are monsters painted on the walls of Haag Hall? Who killed University of Kansas City beauty queen Leila Welsh? What really happened in Epperson House? These are just a few of the stories we’ll tell on the Haunted UMKC Walking Tour. Not for the faint of heart.

Meet at the south entrance of the Atterbury Student Success Center at 6pm. Tour lasts from 6 - 7:30pm (or longer depending on questions). Approximately 1 mile of walking so comfortable shoes are recommended.
