"Each year, UMKC gives out nearly $4 million in scholarships through the UMKC Competitive Scholarship Application.

In this session, current students and scholarship reviewers will walk through the UMKC Competitive Scholarship Application, giving you tips and tricks for making your application stand out. We'll also share recommendations for finding additional scholarship resources in the community.

Attendees will learn:
-Where to find the UMKC Competitive Scholarship application
-Who and how to ask for a letter of recommendation
-How to share and highlight work and personal experience
-Tips for making your scholarship essay stand out
-Where to find additional scholarship resources in the community
